How Does a FUNDrun© Work?
As a school teacher, administrator, club organizer, you know that there is a lot that goes into producing an event. Where do you start with a Get Active Fundraiser? What do you get from us and what do you need to provide for a successful event? We’ve put some guidelines here, and more detail can be found in our FAQ’s.
What We Provide

Personalized Service
When you sign up with us, you’ll be assigned a dedicated FUNDrunner© who will work with you every step of the way to produce the perfect fundraiser, leveraging the knowledge we’ve gained from helping hundreds of organizations in all fifty states.

Online Donations
Our user-friendly online fundraising platform makes it simple and fun to ask for donations and can increase the overall funds raised during your event.
Families will create their own donation page and messages. Recipients will simply click to make an online donation.

Organization
Starting with a personalized checklist that helps you with the important first steps, we’ll make sure that all your “i’s” are dotted and your “t’s” crossed. After you’ve signed the agreement and paid the deposit you’ll receive our Detailed Program Guide.

Supplies
We will ship all the supplies you’ll need for your event 2 – 3 weeks prior to your event, once you have confirmed the total number of participants, including supplies for the run itself and kits for participants (additional lead time is required for shipping to Hawaii and Alaska).

Customized Materials
We’ll tailor the materials to your event, to help you with things like getting the proper permissions, writing press releases, and posting flyers. For your event day, you’ll find sample route schematic, certificates, and a checklist of recommended materials.

Participants!
Your organization size will determine the number of runners for your event. We recommend a minimum of 100 people, but we will work with you if you have fewer than that. This will ensure that your resources and ours are utilized to maximize your success and funds!

What You'll Bring
A Space to Run
For most events, you just need a safe space to run. We recommend a grassy natural area for a Color Splash event so that the colors can be washed or mowed away. If your space is limited, loops are great!
Lead Time
Based on our experience, a minimum of twelve weeks is the optimal amount of time for planning and promoting your event. Please contact us with questions regarding lead time.
Leadership
We’ve found that events with a team leader are the most successful. During the planning process, it will be important to have a point person who can rally the troops and create excitement around the event.

Sponsorships
Sponsors will help take your fundraiser to the next level by increasing visibility and adding credibility. The funds they provide also enable you to scale and increase the quality of your fundraiser. They are partners in the success of your event.
Donations
You’ll need donations as well as sponsorships. Getting friends and family involved will make all the different for the energy level of your event as well as your fundraising goals. Our Online Pledge System makes getting donations simple and fun for everyone.
